Ultrasonic and Volumetric Studies of Adenosine in Aqueous Metal Sulphate Solutions at 298.15K and 308.15K

Ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity measurements of adenosine in aqueous vanadyl and nickel sulphate solutions have been carried out at 298.15K and 308.15K. From these experimental data apparent molar volume Φv and apparent molar isentropic compressibility Φk of adenosine in presence of electrolytes at infinite dilution are evaluated. Viscosity data have been analyzed in the light of Jones-Dole equation and the constants A and B have been estimated and interpreted in terms of Ion-ion and Ion-solvent and molecular interactions occurring in solutions. The results are compared with those reported in the literature.
