The free volume for the three binary liquid systems Bis (2-methoxy ethyl) ether+Nonane, Bis (2-methoxy ethyl) ether+Decane, Bis (2-methoxy ethyl) ether+Dodecane, and four ternary liquid systems Benzene+Chloroform+Cyclohexane, Toluene+Chloroform+Cyclohexane, Chlorobenzene+Chlorofoi in+Cyclohexane and Dioxane+Chloroform+Cyclohexane have been computed using viscosity and sound velocity data. Intermolecular interactions in these systems has been discussed in the light of excess free volume (VfE). The results are consistent with the theories.
