Ultrasonic velocities and derived thermodynamic parameters are of considerable interest in understanding the nature and strength of various intermodular interactions, formation of Hydrogen bonding etc In the present work adiabatic compressibility and enthalpies of binary liquid mixtures of n-alcohols with Lactic acid and Dioxane have been computed from the measured values of density, viscosity and ultrasonic velocity. The excess values of these parameters have been calculated to study the nature and strength of molecular interactions in liquid mixtures. The effect of electro negativity and induction reflected in the values of Alcohol-Dioxane systems have been detected.
