Thermodynamic functions like internal pressure, free-volume, energy of vaporization, heat of vaporization etc. for eight binary mixtures of some n-alkoxyethanols and polyethers with 1-propanol have been evaluated at 298.15 K from the experimentally determined values of density, viscosity, and ultrasonic speed. Corresponding excess functions have been computed. The results are explained on the basis of inter molecular interactions.

Abstract

Thermodynamic functions like internal pressure, free-volume, energy of vaporization, heat of vaporization etc. for eight binary mixtures of some n-alkoxyethanols and polyethers with 1-propanol have been evaluated at 298.15 K from the experimentally determined values of density, viscosity, and ultrasonic speed. Corresponding excess functions have been computed. The results are explained on the basis of inter molecular interactions.
