Emotional Intelligence:An Inhibitor for Cultural Disruptions in India Inc

There is only one thing constant throughout the world i.e., change. Paradigm shift takes place dramatically in the case of corporate culture of India. In order to fulfil the expectations of the customers in terms of need, demand, taste and preference, organisational change takes place. Obliviously no change takes place in the world without resistance. Only by the help of entrepreneurial culture we can neutralise those resistance. Entrepreneurial culture is the culture which creates number of Intrapreneur in place of a single entrepreneur. Such entrepreneur culture may be built by the leaders who possess high emotional intelligence to neutralise the cultural disruptions in both public and private sectors. In other words, emotional intelligence acts as active inhibitor for cultural disruptions. The aim of this research article is to analyse the components of EI of the entrepreneurs and top levels management (who are responsible to inculcate the entrepreneurial culture within the enterprise) of India Inc. This paper also analyses the entrepreneurial competencies of the above mentioned target group. This paper intends to establish a relationship between the aforesaid factors.
