National Education Policy 2020 and its Challenges for Implementation in India

National Education policy of India released in 2020 is much awaited policy release in a diverse country like India almost after 36 years of wait. Academicians and scholars from all walks of life across the globe have contributed towards development of this policy which is in the manifesto of all major political parties of India. The country has entered new phase of its growth on account of technology changes and demographic requirement changes, it is very important to align the education with the requirement and aspirations of the coming generations. Now that education policy is released which is targeted to be completely implemented by 2030, it is also eminent that the challenges which this policy will have to face during its implementation to be discussed add critical level. It is going to determine overall success of this policy. Hence we have put very high importance towards the factors which pose as a challenge for implementation of NEP 2020. This study intends to analyze the strength and weaknesses how they have performed while addressing challenges of NEP2020.
