E-Content is a Powerful Tool for Teaching Geography Effectively

This research paper explains how a well-designed and well-developed e-content can help study Social Science interestingly for secondary school children. Teaching Social Science to secondary school students is fundamental to preparing socially beneficial citizens through an effective secondary school education system with necessary social competencies and understanding of how to become socially competent individuals for their society, which can be achieved through some aspects of Social Science. For most students, social sciences are dull subjects. Innovative changes in the teaching and learning processes can make the subject more exciting and attract learners’ attention. Digital or electronic material now serves as the delivery method for data sent via network. E-content can increase the student’s interest in learning Social Sciences thoroughly, interestingly, and interactively. Through this modern media, learners can visualize historical events, geographical nature and conditions, political events, and economic conditions and become better citizens of our nation and future nation builders. This paper explains the process of creating e-content in the field of geography and highlights the various significant stages involved.
