Institute of Business Management & Rural Development (IBMRD) is a leading management institute affiliated permanently to University of Pune, recognized under section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC act 1956 and recipient of 21'st Dewang Mehta Educational Leadership Award.
“IBMRD’s Journal of Management and Research” ISSN 2277-7830 incepted from 2012 with annual subscription. The journal since its inception in 2012 has been well received among practioners, academicians and research scholars.

IBMRD is going to run the Ph.D Research centre from the academic year 2013-14. Main aim of Research center is to expand educational opportunity for all research scholars with high quality infrastructure facility students through high-level research and analysis. By providing educational leaders and researcher with the information required to make prudent programmatic and policy decisions, we believe that the doors of opportunity can be further opened for all students, resulting in an increase in the number of students prepared for, enrolled in, and completing doctorial education.
The Objectives of Research Center include to encourage doctoral and Post-doctoral research, to undertake research projects, seminar, conferences and workshops, to provide research based consultancy services to industry, trade and commerce, provide E_resource such as Eboscohost, SPSS for facilitating Research Scholars in their search for information, to organized workshop/seminar/Conference as per requirement of students.
Research Subject will offer many Functional areas of management such as Marketing Management (MKT), Financial Management (FIN), Human Resources Management (HR), General Management, Information Technology Management (IT), Operation Management (OPE), International Business Management (IB), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Rural and Agribusiness Management (RABM), Family Business Management (FBM), Technology Management (TM) etc.
