Leverage Analysis of Tata Steel and Sail

The performance of leading companies in India plays key role in developing industrial sector of the country. The leverage has an important role in determining the financial strength that is essential for the development of corporate sector of the country. In the present study, operating leverage, financial leverage, and combined leverage have been analysed and it is concluded that the leverage of the companies under study is not proper, needs restructuring and differs from company to company significantly.
