Psychological Coping in Leprosy Patients

The present study endeavours to cast a glance at psychological coping patterns in leprosy patients from Jyoti Nagar Leprosy Rehabilitation Centre, Mohanlalganj, Lucknow. An expost-facto research with an exploratory orientation was conducted on 70 male leprosy patients. An effort was made to identify what coping patterns these patients apply. Results revealed prominent shades of negativity throughout. They have attributed leprosy as the cause of everything. Further an attempt is there to rationalize the dissatisfaction that is felt due to others reactions.
