Psychotherapy with a Patient of Alcoholism

Alcoholism is the dependence on, or addiction to alcohol and it is a chronic, progressive and sometimes fatal disease (Goedde & Agarwal, 1989). In this article the psychotherapeutic treatment of a 45 years old patient is described. The treatment leads to the exploration of various facets of the patient's life. The results of the treatment were suggestive of significant improvement and the resolution of various underlying issues.
