Relationship between Personality and Socio-Economic Status with Sports Performance

Personality and socio-economic-status of an individual affects his/her life in a drastic way. These factors also affect the sports performance of a player. Wresting is an important game which was introduced by India in the world. The present research is an attempt to find out the relationship between personality and socio-economic-status with their sports performance. The study was conducted by employing 3x2 factorial design on 204 wrestling performer and non-performer player of Haryana. Tools used were 16PF Questionnaire (Indian adoption) and Socio Economic Status Scale by Singh, Radhey Shyam, and Sheoran. The findings of the study are showing that the personality and SES affect the sports performance.
