A Comparative Study of Job Stress and Job Satisfaction among Male and Female Private (+2) School Teachers

The main purpose of this research was to find out the mean difference between female and male +2 teachers of private school. The total sample consisted of 60 (male&female) teachers. The research tool for occupational stress was measured by Srivastava and Singh (1981), while the tool for job-satisfaction was used by Singh and Sharma of Punjab University. Here Mean, SD, t-test was applied to check the significance of gender on occupational stress and job-satisfaction. Results revealed that there was no significant difference on the level of occupational stress, while significant differences were found on the level of job-satisfaction.
