Scientometric Analysis into Research Output of IIT Bombay in the Field of Engineering During 2006-2016

This paper analyzes growth of research publications in the field of engineering produced from IIT Bombay during the period 2006 to 2016. Analysis has been made by taking into account the publication output of IIT Bombay as reflected in Scopus Database. Viable attempts has been made to find out the year wise growth of publications, preferred source for publication, national and international collaboration pattern, degree of collaboration. This paper highlights IIT Bombay’s contribution to the field of engineering that is available in Scopus database.
