Creating Intellectual Capital: A Role of Human Capital

As more-and-more businesses are evolving with intellectual capital as their main assets generating value for them the world over, it has become imperative to understand what our organisations are doing to manage this. The research is largely based on primary data collected from different organisations across the country. Exhaustive literature survey was undertaken to study the present state of art related to intellectual capital creation. The objectives of the research are, to understand the constructs of intellectual capital creation and to identify important items underlying the same. Key employees leaving the organisations, thinking before taking actions, inter-group relationships, succession training programme, and preparedness for the consequences of the actions are some of the important constructs grouped as human capital are forming the important part of the intellectual capital creation.
