Publishing in an ISI or high impact factor journal is a concern for researchers to increase their citation record and their prestige in the world of Science. The study shows that search engine optimisation (SEO) not only increases visibility of scientific articles but also helps to receive more views, downloads, and citations. This paper is the first study looking SEO in a new approach.
