Platelet Rich Fibrin consists of an autologous leukocyte-platelet-rich fibrin matrix, composed of a tetra molecular structure, with platelets, leukocytes and stem cells within it, which acts as a biodegradable scaffold that favors microvascularization and is able to guide epithelial cell migration to its surface. This case report describes about the management of large periapical lesions with surgical approach and PRF placement and a non-surgical approach.
