Compatibility of Packaging Substrates and Adhesives

Adhesives play a fundamental role in many modern technologies, and adhesive failure can have catastrophic consequences. In packing industry, adhesive is used as an ancillary material. Different types of adhesives are designed for a large variety of applications. Some have very weak strength for holding papers in place, others are so strong that they can used for bonding cars and airplanes. There is no one adhesive that is suitable to all applications.
