Study and Analysis of Quality Management System in Web-Fed Publication Presses

In this era of survival, newspaper presses needed to be quality oriented and establishment of quality management system is very essential to satisfy the customers and to face the competition in market among various presses. This paper highlights the procedures and measures of quality management, quality control parameters, ISO standard and the issues that can impact the implementation, thereby increasing the awareness of quality through quality management system in web-fed publication presses. The work was carried out at HT Media Ltd., Mohali and data was collected on daily basis. The results clearly indicated that quality management system is most suitable for enhancing quality need to taken into consideration by newspaper presses.
