An Introduction to Electronic Resources of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science&technology Library, Hisar, Haryana

The GuruJambheshwarUniversity of Science & Technology Library is enriched in electronic resources. Some of theresources are subscribed by the library where as many electronic resources have been provided by the INFLIBNET and INDEST free of cost. These resources are very useful for the Researchers and faculty members. Journals provided by INFLIBNET,Emerald,IEEE (ASPP+POP),J Gate,Prowessare renowned electronic resources which are available in the library for the users. The university library has the access to more than 6500 online journals of 17 publishers through Information Library Network. The emerald database is very important for the researcher and faculty members of business management, economics and psychology. In this database access to 175 journals has been provided. The university library also subscribes ASPP and POP through INDEST. POP has been purchased by the university and ASPP has been provided to the library free of cost. These journals and conference proceedings are very useful for researchers and faculty members of engineering stream.The library also subscribes J Gate database. It provides full access to the electronic resources on single platform which are subscribed by the library and for rest of the electronic resources bibliographic detail is provided. Other that that library do have Prowess database.This database is related to industries and corporate firms and very useful for researchers of business management and economics. For analysis of data library has purchased SPSS software. The purpose of present paperis to provide an introduction to the Electronic resources of GJUS&T Library, Hisar (Haryana).
