A Study on Cloud Computing and Challenges

Cloud computing is a recent technology paradigm that enables organizations or individuals to share various services in a seamless and cost effective manner. Currently business organizations are trying to achieve Business Intelligence to maximum extent. This necessitates porting current data analytic applications on to the cloud due to its ability to process large datasets as well as extensive support for scalability at low cost. It uses internet technologies for delivery of data as demanded by users. In this paper, we study the Cloud computing paradigm, its working, types of cloud, services offered by cloud, technology challenges and opportunities to cloud computing, which makes Business Intelligence affordable.
