Performance Comparison of FSR, LANMAR and LAR Routing Protocols for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks
Subscribe/Renew Journal
A mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) is an infrastructure less network without using any centralized administration. This paper describes performance comparison of routing protocols fisheye state routing protocol (FSR), Location- Aided-routing protocol (LAR), and LANMAR, using different performance metrics like packet delivery ratio (FDR) Throughput, and End- to- End delay In this paper all these routing protocols are compared by varying pause time using Qualnet simulator. The simulation result shows that FDR and Throughput of LAR is better than FSR and LANMAR. LANMAR is best scheme in terms of end-to-end delay and FSR scales well to large networks as the overhead is controlled.
