Need of Skill Development Program to Improve the Quality of Printing Industry Workforce

This paper examines the need of skill development training in printing industry. Printing industry has been growing more and more in last few years. There are many factors which are changing the scenario of printing industry. Rapid technology advancement, trade barrier, environmental awareness, customer satisfaction, identify customer needs, client servicing and attraction new customers. Rapid Technology advancement is the key factor which needs skilled force during introduction of new technologies. Various education programs and vocational programs have been introduced in India for printing Industry. In skilled India Program, there are so many job roles which are covering almost every sector of industry, but no one has given attention to printing industry. In this paper, we will examine the skill gap in printing industry and what steps must be taken to make printing industry more productive and effective.
