Printing Technology:An Emerging Concept

Since the dawn of the human civilization, the printing technology prevails but at very initial stage means was not so advanced. In ancient time, for preserving the thoughts and literature of scholars, the papyrus was used. Parchment or the skin of the animals, principally those of sheep and goat was also used. Yellum or the skin of lamb or kid was used for expensive writings, while for messages and notes wax-coated wooden tablets. But with the passage of time, the orientation of the printing technology has got changed as with the increases of the population, the demand of the printing material has increased. Many nascent emerging technologies have incorporated with printing since last few decades. Even, as of now the printing technology is being helpful as novel drug delivery system. In addition, the 3D printing has been demonstrated in numerous fields. The present paper will try to elicit the emerging issues in printing technology which will be helpful for existing and budding printing technology professionals to understand the basics and latest of printing technology.
