Shodhganga: Substantial and Leading Online Repository of Indian Theses and Dissertation

In the twenty-first century, the digital contents are the inevitable need of the academics in particular and society in general. The digital contents bring the societies close as information is available on single click and on single platform even remotely accessible without waiting and wasting a single minute. Societies are enjoying the cultural exchange through technology. Academic societies are also enjoying the speed of delivery of contents. Therefore, to serve the academics more efficiently, information and library network center has developed the electronic theses and dissertations-ETD Repository i.e. Shodhganga under the aegis of University Grants Commission. It is the electronic repository of Indian theses and dissertations. The present paper will try to elicit the basics of ETD repository so that academicians may understand the concept easily and may contribute more as individual and institution.
