Thermal Instability of a Viscoelastic Walters'(Model B') Fluid in Hydromagnetics in the Presence of Suspended Particles
Subscribe/Renew Journal
The effect of suspended particles on thermal instability of a viscoelastic Walters' (model B') fluid in the presence of a uniform horizontal magnetic field is considered. The sufficient conditions for non-existence of overstability are found in the presence of horizontal magnetic field. The effect of suspended particles is to postpone the onset of convection. For stationary convection, Walters' (model B') viscoelastic fluid behaves like a Newtonian viscous fluid.
