Abstract
Garumara National Park, situated in West Bengal is important for being one of the last gene pool reserves of Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros. It is very rich in flora and fauna besides containing at least 12 species of vertebrates belonging to the Schedule-I of Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. The habitat types of Garumara National Park, the basic objectives (Prospects) of Management, problems faced and the Management strategies detailing how the objectives are to be achieved, have been dealt with.
