The climatic change that has caught everyone’s attention requires steps to mitigate it. One such effective method is Carbon Abatement Technology (CAT). In particular this report examines the approach of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) of CAT strategy to abate the carbon in form of carbon di-oxide. The seminar involves a detailed description of the process involved in the Carbon Abatement Technology and the methods. This method can be applied to the industries from where mass carbon is produced as CO2. A case study on application of CCS to the industries is done.
