Examine the Relationship between Use of the ICT and Professional Development of Secondary School Teachers in Tabriz

This study examined the relationship between the use of ICT and professional development of teachers dimensions. The study population is 1691 person, have been Tabriz high school teachers. The sample size of 190 participants who were selected using cluster sampling. In this research, measurement tools and data collection was questionnaire, has been developed based on the Likert. Content validity was confirmed by experts and the reliability of the questionnaire was based on Cronbach's alpha was 0.87. To determine the relationship between variables, Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were used. The results showed that the ICT professional development of secondary school teachers in Tabriz have positive correlation with a correlation coefficient of 0/66 and in significance level of 000/0. Regression analysis showed that the IT elements predictive professional development of teachers.
