The present study examined the critical analysis of administrative relations between centre and state in Haryana. One of the most difficult problems under a federal system is the adjustment of administrative relations between Union and the States. In the absence of clear provisions in the Constitutions, considerable difficulty is often experienced by the Union and the States in the discharge of their responsibilities. Here the pattern that is adopted is based mainly on that which was established under the Government of India Act of 1935.
