Attitude of Students towards the Uses of Internet

The internet has become an indispensible part of our modern life specially the education field has the greater potential to take the benefit of it. The present study is intended to explore how students of higher education are prepared to take the advantage of it. For the purpose 300 students are surveyed by using item scale to measure the types of internet use and its frequency, and attitude of students at college and university level. It is found that students are comfortable with the internet technology and also intensively using it. They are well aware about the utility of this technology and also consider the information available on net is valuable from the point of view of education and thetr courses. More importantly the students are using those services more frequently which is related to their learning and professional environment.
