Four different organic matter sources (dried leaf materials of Azadiracta indica, Madhuca indica, Morinda tinctoria, Peltophorum pterocarpum and Thespesia populnea), tested against Pythium indicum, either alone or in combination with Thchoderma viride. Application of T. viride and Thespesia leaf recorded maximum seed germination (100 %), low disease incidence (5,0 %), increased seedling growth (15.6 cm/pl), seedling vigour index (1560), and seedling biomass (23.8 mg/pl) in P. indicum inoculated unsteilized soil.
