The Impact of Organisation Environment on Effectiveness
Subscribe/Renew Journal
The relationship between the organisation environment and its effectiveness was analysed using the data collected from six organisations. The study indicated that there were only three dimensions of the organisation environment out of eleven which had a significant role to play in determining its effectiveness. Interesting revelations regarding the difference in the two groups with regard to the dimensions which mattered to them were discovered. The effective group was more sensitive to the three dimensions (Conflict Resolution, Support System and Warmth) of the organisation environment. Only one such dimension mattered to the not so effective group. Some dimensions influenced the organisation effectiveness more as compared to other dimensions.
