Thermocouples are the most widely used thermometric sensors for different applications dueto wide temperature range and high temperature measuring capability. They are simple temperature sensors and can be made in very small sizes to convert heat into electricity. Additionally, they are inexpensive and one of the highly durable thermometer types. The purpose of this article is to perform the calibration of thermocouples with the comparison method and to calculate the expanded uncertainty by determining the uncertainty parameters affecting the measurement.
