Current Trends in Professional Educational Institutions in India

Indian education system has grown remarkably in terms student enrollment, number of universities, institutions and percentage of educational expenditure since last 20 years and has become the largest education system in the world. Professional institutions have also increased at the exponential rate. In this paper, the growth in higher and professional education institutions has been described. Various government institutions monitoring the quality of educational institutions and problems faced by professional education have also been discussed.
