Job Satisfaction of Outsourced Employees in the Indian Automotive Sector:A Case of Blue Collars

The labor market has changed dramatically over the past few years. The globalization of economies and cut throat competition is forcing organization to cut cost of its operations. Therefore firms are seeking to obtain higher value through lower costs. The use of contract workers helps organizations to bring down costs, also ensuring labor flexibility, However it brings with it certain outcomes for employees. The purpose of this study was to examine the level of job satisfaction amongst outsourced blue collar employees in the automotive manufacturing industry.
