HR has gone under major transformation over the past few years. It has been rapidly expanding and changing over the past few years due to globalization, changing economy downsizing, wary customers and increased competition. The nature of jobs, work relationships and work roles has changed, similarly the scope of the job of Chief Human Resource Officer has increased and expanded into many new roles. The HR leaders are facing the challenges of adaption with the new work goals and new demands arising by competitive environment. They have to embrace the new work roles and evolve themselves in order to meet the changing conditions that will ultimately decide the survival of the organizations.
