The Global Economic Crisis Through an Indian Looking Glass
Subscribe/Renew Journal
The book titled “The global economic crisis through an Indian looking glass” is a combination of views by three authors namely Adarsh Kishore, Michael Debabrata Patra and Partha Ray who have tried to ensemble different ways of looking at the global economic crisis of 2009 from Indian perspective. The global economic crisis started to unfold in August 2007, when the US subprime crisis started unraveling its effects on the global economy. Key jolts were felt in more advanced economies such as US and Europe, which gradually spread to other nations across Asia and Africa. At present, we can see business and consumer confidence on the market going down with attempts on reforming not going well off with the sentiments of the existing financial market.
