The book discusses about the evolving landscapes and technological trends, Implementation and management of enterprise systems, and some real-time case studies, field applications which proves the effectiveness of ERP systems in modern organizations throughout the globe. The first chapter written by Sachin B Modi and Vincent A Mabert discusses about the components of the enterprise systems and the primary organizations involved in the implementation of the enterprise systems. It mentions the use of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Infor, JDA, etc., in the context of product life cycle management, demand channel management, enterprise and manufacturing systems, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management.
