The High-Performance Entrepreneur:Golden Rules for Success in Today’s World
Subscribe/Renew Journal
Entrepreneurship and new venture creation has been a popular topic for managers as well as for students of management. The aspirations of many top managers to become independent and start their own ventures have been well known. However, the chasm between managing an existing resource set, identifying a new opportunity and mobilizing new resource sets, is wide. The author addresses some of the typical questions that have always been asked in entrepreneurship—When should one venture into a new business opportunity? What is the profile of a typical entrepreneur? How does one start a new venture? What are the criteria for successfully starting and creating a sustainable and enduring venture?
