Alcohol addiction is a complex and multi-dimensional problem. It has both medical and social ramifications which not only impacts individual but also his environment. The aim of this paper is to know how to take the history of the patient, assessment and intervention process to alleviate the client's alcohol addiction and to decrease malfunctioning in the person and his/her system which further enhances the client's satisfaction and self realization.
