Software Process Models are also known as software life cycle models. In the software industry different types of projects ranging from small to complex arrive in random inter arrival time for development of software products. Before implementing the project, project managers decide an appropriate software process model in documentation which is used in deploying the project. An empirical study conducted in 2012 that presents various effecting factors for selecting any software life cycle model. One of the important factors is team size. Among the software life cycle model, water fall and RAD (Rapid Application Development) models are compared and an idea was suggest when to use water fall model and RAD model for developing the software product.
