Reading Habits among College Students : A Case Study of the Chirang District

Reading opens the way to knowledge. The problem that students have with low performance in any examination is due to their reading habits. For a good performance in any examination, the students should have good reading habits. At present, due to the impact of the social media, students do not show much attentiveness in reading books, magazines, journals, and so on. Nowadays, many students prefer to watch movies and other shows on the television, listen to music, and so on. This research examines the reading habits among college students, specifically among the library users in the Chirang district, Assam, India.
