Dear Members,

As you may already know, the National Welding Seminar 2010 was organized by our IIW India Visakhapatnam Branch at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Training & Development Centre from 21-23rd December, 2010. The Seminar was organized in association with RINL/VSP and Shri P. K. Bishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director, RINLVSP was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the Seminar. There was very good response from the welding fraternity and 74 Technical papers were presented in 20 Technical sessions with four parallel sessions spread over one and halfdays. Over 250 delegates from all over the country attended the Seminar. ^Along with the Seminar a two day Pre Conference Tutorial and a small industrial exhibition was also arranged. I must congratulate the Vizag Branch for organizing the seminar in such an excellent manner considering their limited experiences and resources.
