Introduction

Welding, as one of the most important fabrication and maintenance processes, has been playing an important role in the industrial and infrastructural development of any nation in the world since the industrial revolution that took place around 1850 when technological and economic progress gained momentum with the development of steam-powered ships, railways, and later with the internal combustion engine and electrical power generation in some Parts of the world.
