Dear Members,

At the outset, I would like to inform you that a three member team representing IIW-India comprising of M/s. P. K. Das, President, IIW-India, Aloke Kumar Mitra, Director, ANBCC-India and the undersigned had attended the IIW intermediate meeting including working Group -Regional Activities, Commission Meetings and IAB Meetings held in Paris from 14-18th January, 2013. During this visit our team members also held discussions with AWS representatives regarding the forthcoming WELD INDIA- 2014 to be held in association with FABTECH. During this meeting AWS agreed to sign an agreement in this regard shortly keeping in view the legal points raised by IIW-India.
