The IIW - IWC 2005 held in Mumbai between February 16 - 20, 2005 was indeed a very impressive event on all counts. A record number of 623 delegates including 55 from abroad registered, 127 abstracts for technical papers were accepted out of which, 90 were presented in the technical sessions and 14 in the postal session and above all it was very well organized and appreciated by one and all including the Indian as well as the overseas dignitaries. The Weld India Expo 2005 was also a very spectacular show and full credit goes to the organizing committee and the host Mumbai Branch for successfully conducting these prestigious events.
