The effects of diclofenac sodium on the activities of the steroidogenic enzymes 3β-Phydroxy steroid dehydrogenase and 17β-Phydroxy steroid dehydrogenase as well as testosterone hormone titres were studied in albino rats, at a dosage of 300μg/kg. body weight for short, mid and long duration treatments. The effect of withdrawal of the drug for a month and supplementation with vitamin E were also studied.
