Ultrasonic Non Destructive Testing Characterization of Condensed Materials


 

This thesis is a theoretical study for the characterization of materials having NaCl-type structure. For characterization of the materials, its elastic behaviour and mechanical properties are analyzed. Since propagation of ultrasonic waves through a medium is the characteristic of the medium, the ultrasonic velocity and attenuation coefficient for the waves give the idea about the thermophysical properties of the material.
