Pterothoracic Muscles of the Cave-cricket Kempiola shankari Sinha and Agarwal (Orthoptera, Phalangopsidae)

The pterotboracic muscles of Kempiola shankari (Orth; Phalangopsidae) have been studied. All the three dorsal muscles of the male are stronger than the female. The tergopleural muscles are present only the mesothorax of male. The epipleural muscles of the female appear as coxal muscles.

Abstract
